Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights.
- Create complex DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
- Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI.
- Deploy creative visual interaction tools for different metrics.
- Proven expertise in the entire Microsoft Power Platform, such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Dataverse, AI Builder, etc.
- Provide architecture recommendations to manage Power BI workspaces.
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis.
- Create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations.
- Make technical changes to existing BI systems in order to enhance their functioning.
Must Have
- 4+ years of relevant experience with the above job duties for an Intermediate Power BI Developer
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or related fields.
- Certification in MS Power BI and Power Apps Suite is needed.
- Good creative and communication skills – Ability to influence and recommend visualizations to the senior leadership teams.
- Ability to create complex SQL queries to join multiple tables/data is absolutely needed.
- Understanding of JavaScript, CSS, and other JavaScript libraries is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python.
- Understanding of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
